THE DEADLINE FOR PRESENTATION ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS HAS NOW PASSED

The scientific program for Ecology 2003 includes a one-day course for postgraduate students on Sunday 7th December and three days of scientific sessions on Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th, and Wednesday 10th December.

To view a draft outline of the overall program click here.

The scientific sessions include opening and closing plenary sessions, a dedicated poster session, and concurrent speaking sessions running in parallel. To accommodate all speakers we have organised up to 6 concurrent sessions running in parallel for much of the conference. These are organised into advertised symposia and thematic open sessions.

To view the presenters' schedules for talks and posters, click on the menu bar above. You can also view the abstracts.
Open sessions include submitted abstracts on current research and other issues likely to be of general interest to ecologists. They are arranged thematically and we have tried to avoid major subject clashes (though with so many presentations, this hasn’t been easy).

Symposia highlight particular themes in ecology by bringing together some of the most exciting recent developments in particular fields. They are tightly organized sessions addressing well-structured themes.

If symposia are very popular, abstracts that cannot be accommodated in the symposium session of choice will be placed in a related thematic open session.
