ESA2007 DELEGATE INFORMATION:

PERTH WEATHER and Climate: Perth has a Mediterranean climate and is located in one of only five Mediterranean climate zones in the world. This means that for most of the year, the weather is fine and sunny; even during the short mild winter the sun is often shining.

The Seasons: Perth weather is recorded and forecast in degrees Celsius.

Springtime in Perth: Spring begins in September in Perth, and from this time on, the weather quickly warms to fine sunny conditions for the many months ahead. For the most part spring is sunny and warm, especially from October and November, the weather is generally fine and rain is usually minimal or absent.

 

Average Temperatures

November: Daytime 24-27C

Overnight Minimum 12-15C

December: Daytime 27-30C

Overnight Minimum 15-18C

 

 

WELCOME RECEPTION is at Perth Town Hall on the corner of Hay and Barrack Streets commencing at 6.00pm on Sunday 25th November.

 

CONFERENCE DINNER the Golden Nugget Function Room at Gloucester Park. Located in East Perth, Gloucester Park offers close proximity to the city, plenty of free on site parking and stunning views of the Swan River.

CAT services help to reduce the expenses associated with driving and parking in the city.

All CAT bus stops are colour coded for your convenience and include an audio recording of service times. Simply press the information button at the stop to find out when the next bus is due to arrive.

Transperth’s CAT buses – deliver fast, frequent and free travel to you. Travel for free at all times on all Transperth services located within the Free Transit Zone (FTZ).

Free travel is only permitted within the FTZ. If you are travelling outside this zone normal  fares apply. Free Transit Zone Monday to Friday 6:50am - 6:20pm Every 5 mins.
