Objective:
To recognise outstanding contributions to ecology made by Ecological Society of Australia (ESA) members, either within the ESA or the wider Australian community, when acting on behalf of the ESA.

Eligibility and Assessment Criteria:        

All financial ESA members, excluding current paid employees, conference organisers and council members (unless making a contribution beyond their position portfolio) are eligible for the award.

Procedure:
Nominations are called for from ESA members, who can suggest a suitable candidate.
Please fill out the nomination form (available for download below).
Nominations are to be submitted to the President of the Society. Two ESA members (excluding the candidate) are required to sign the nomination form.

The Council reserves the right to not award the prize in any given year, if they feel the criteria have not been achieved.

The Prize:
The President will present the winner with a cheque for $500 and a certificate at the annual conference.
