Jill Landsberg 30 April 1953 to 24 May 2005
Jill Landsberg's outstanding contributions to ecology extended back 25 years. The common theme to Jill's ecological research interests was the conservation of biodiversity in landscapes managed mainly for primary production. She also made a significant contribution to the conservation of threatened species, through her long service on the Australian Government's Endangered Species Scientific Advisory Committee. Jill Landsberg was well known to all members of the Ecological Society of Australia as a tireless worker in support of the Society's core business. She was one of the longest serving members on the Society's Council, having served as Bulletin Editor and Regional Councillor with great distinction, and as a primary organiser of three ESA conferences.
The ESA is now ready to receive your donation. Please download the donation form and follow the instructions. Electronic transfers are possible. A tax-deductible receipt will be sent once payment has been received.
Please distribute this call for donations throughout your networks, to help ESA honour Jill’s memory by supporting quality research in applied ecology.
