RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Location: Kensington (Perth), Western Australia

Salary etc: Specified Calling Level 2, $93,548 - $103,179 p.a.

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is committed to promoting biodiversity and conservation to enrich people’s lives, through sustainable management of Western Australia’s species, ecosystems, lands and the attractions in the department’s care.

This position is responsible for design and implementation of decision science to inform ecosystem management, biodiversity conservation and recovery of threatened species and ecological communities in Western Australia. The position will integrate decision science principles and approaches into conservation projects and collaborations, publish research findings and provide expert scientific advice.
