Each year ESA offers a limited number of grants (of up to $1,500) to support ecology related local activities, events, and initiatives around Australia.
Eligible activities may include (but are not limited to): seminars; workshops; education initiatives; symposia; research chapter events; public forums; citizen science events; field days etc.
Anything that brings people together around ecology is considered. It can include partnering with other local events or organisations as long as the ESA support is appropriately acknowledged and promoted.
Application is via this online form. Applications are open to all ESA members, but must be received by 5 April to be considered by the ESA Board in their April meeting. Recipients will be notified in May if they have been successful.
Applicants must be a financial member of the Society to apply. If you need any further information about the grants, please contact our Executive Officer.
