Grants of up to $7,500 are available to Australian postgraduate students who are conducting field work on Australian native plants and animals; conservation biology and biodiversity studies; or wildlife management.
The Holsworth Wildlife Research Endowment provides support for postgraduate students for the purchase of equipment, supplies, as well as travel to study areas and conferences.
The grants are renewable for 2-3 years with a maximum of $22,500 available per project. Grants are paid to the university, not to the individual and preference will be given to students at an early stage of a doctoral program.
Round 1 applications for 2019 are now open, and will close at midnight on 30 April.
