Your Hot Topics: delivering timely facts since 2012

Hot Topics in Ecology are evidence-based syntheses of topics that are relevant to environmental policy development, land management and to broadening the community’s ecological knowledge base. They aim to deliver timely, factual overviews that promote the application of scientifically defensible ecological knowledge in public debate.

More than thirty Hot Topics (HTs) have been published to date on a diversity of topics from feral cats to regional forest agreements. The top six HTs by page views will be published each year as e-articles with a DOI in ‘Austral Ecology’.

ESA members can suggest a Hot Topic theme or add new supporting evidence to current Hot Topics to keep them hot! Check the website for details!
