PhD Scholarship: Conservation ecology of New England endemic granite outcrop plant communities (UNE)

Closes: 30 November

This project will increase ecological knowledge and deliver conservation outcomes for a range of rare and threatened plant species in unique granite outcrop communities of the New England bioregion. The project will combine community and molecular ecology, characterising genetic variation within and among plant species, and examining interactions between those species and associated insects and soil microbes. The project will be working on rare plant communities of the New England Batholith, one of the most significant areas of granite outcrop in Australia.

Scholarship is available to Domestic applicants (Australia/NZ). For more information on the scholarship conditions click here.
